The Urban Implications of Living with Water

Boston  |  2014

The Urban Implications of Living with Water, a report released by ULI Boston/New England, examines four locations throughout the Boston area  and the impact of rising sea levels. Enclosed in this report were solutions that could impact and shape the future architecture and design in the City of Boston.

As part of the Graphic Design Studio at Arrowstreet, I developed the layout of the report, sifted through content and presented the charette ideas in a meaningful way.

I was most proud of the solution for displaying names of everyone involved in this project; On the inside cover, names and titles create a pattern of shades of blue rippling across the page. Lastly, I was responsible for creating the cover image, a series of blue bars representing the increased sea levels, overlaid on a photo of Boston; this graphic representation was mimicked on the table of contents page.

Completed while working at Arrowstreet.
