Hoot Spook | Puff’s Halloween

Cincinnati  |  2012

While working at Interbrand in Cincinnati, I got to work on several of P&G brands, including several schemes of Puff’s Facial Tissues. Shortly after working there, in October of 2012, the Halloween scheme was sent to shelf at Target stores across the country.

Puff’s provided the characters that would be featured on the Halloween specific packaging; these characters included an ominous owl (featured below), a vampire bat (also featured below), a happy jack-o-lantern, and a spooky cat.

I was responsible for the owl concept, “Hoot Spook” from brainstorm and sketching, all the way to production files. The small rectangle on the side of the box is a lenticular image, alternating between the owl perched on the branch and beginning to flap its wings for flight. I also helped collaborate on the patterning and decorative elements of the bat design.

Completed while as a Co-Op at Interbrand, Cincinnati.
